Sunday, May 27, 2012 - 14.2% alcohol. Light black cherry color. Quite porty nose of brown sugar and stewed cherry. In the mouth, this is much more fresh than on the nose. Still showing some good red cherry fruit and spice. This is showing the heat of the vintage at this point. It was tasty on the palate but lacking the complexity, depth, and longevity of better vintages. B+
