Monday, June 28, 2010 - Pop and pour. BAM, nose full of scorched earth, blackberries, wet leaves. The palate is very nicely balanced, definitely an Aussie Shiraz, but the fruit isn't too jammy. Plenty of Boysenberry, coffee, hint of burnt toast on the back palate. Finish isn't long but it is pleasant and I find myself reaching for the glass over and over. Nice quaff for the price, integrating nicely, will try to consume my next two over the next 3-5 years.
