Thursday, November 18, 2010 - Drank with my friend Yiannis. Opaque coloured with still purple rim. Nose exhibits loads of ink, graphite on a background of sweet bramble fruit and cherry. Full bodied with sweet fruit, high acidity which balances the fruit. Very soft and rounded no rough edges with full ripe tannins and good finish. Although full bodied it is not tiring although it might be difficult to match with food as it can be overpowering. A simple dish however lets one enjoy this generous wine.
