Friday, October 5, 2018 - Deep scarlet red with a maroon core. Medium full bodied. Widely separated slow legs. Nose of dusty dried red berries. Red currant, Bing cherries, red plums all quite rich and deep. Hint of leather. Palate medium weight, quite dry with tart fruit. More dusty dry red fruits. A bit oaky. Moderately long tart and dry finish. Overall OK. Wanted more flavour based on the nose.
