Tuesday, January 25, 2011 - Quite nice. Ruby with a brilliant purple rim. Nose is all Gamay -- tropical fruit, a touch of tart cherry and mineral. All the same in the mouth -- cherry/cranberry, some mineral, a little tropical fruit (papaya?). Finishes with a little woodsmoke on stone. High acidity, light bodied, so it's a little off-balance for drinking straight out, but it's absolutely GREAT with food.

Drink through 2015, perhaps longer.
