Saturday, March 9, 2013 - Chartogne-Taillet, Michel Juillot, Dauvissat, Boisson-Vadot, David Clark, Emmanuel Rouget, Fourrier.: This Vieilles Vignes bottling comes from the border with Brochon. This bottle is sourced from somewhere else and not as good as the 2009 Gevrey v.v. bottling we’ve had before. In any case, on the nose a strange brew of dark berries and dark soil tones. On the palate the wine is medium-full, with an abundance of dry tannins adding astringency to the finish. Bottle Variation – what’s the Story?!
