Sunday, May 3, 2015 - A very special wine. Decanted 4 hours. Paired well with classic spaghetti and polpette. The wine was deep garnet in color. Bursting aromatics of summer blossoms, cranberry, and strawberry jam. On the palette, loads of cherry, cinnamon, nutmeg, and caramelized sugar. Many layers to this wine. About 40 seconds on the finish. Drinking well now and will be great for another 5-10.
