Thursday, June 14, 2012 - Alex's Beaune Offline at Medlar (The Medlar, London): Similar colour, but fresher, lighter, more mineral and floral nose initially. Far riper and a kittle less focused on the attack and middle though. Lacks the grapefruit element. A little riper, but in a way smoother than the 08 but less interesting. Still very decent but quite ripe and full. ***1/2
