Monday, January 25, 2016 - Hands down the most impressive chardonnay I've ever had the pleasure of tasting (although to be fair, I do not have much experience drinking white burgundy). Profoundly aromatic wine--lots of lemon curd decorated with freshly cut flowers. Subtler notes of smoke and honey, as if one had begun to gently caramelize honey on an open fire. Slight butteriness is extremely well integrated and rounds out this wine to remind me of a lemon creme brulee.
