Thursday, June 4, 2020 - Very nice wine. I feel like the critical reviews are about right on this one. The nose in particular was lovely and complex, but the palate let the side down a little perhaps. It still feels very young; there are just traces of development. Not oxidized (in a bad way) at all. Fairly fat and rich, but with an incisive, savory finish. Felt a little one-dimensional and shy, even with air and at a fairly warm temperature. Maybe just needs more time? Anyway, it is very nice, and if you have some, maybe open a bottle now to check in on it, but I susupect this will be better in 3-5 years.
