Wednesday, June 14, 2017 - This bold cab continues to show deep color with some light garnet tones on the rim. The nose was dark fruit tones of raspberry, plum and maybe a hint of prune. The palate was dark fruit as well with plenty of tannic structure. The alcohol feels a little out of balance as there was considerable heat through the finish.

For some reason I don't love Alex Valley cab but this wine is alive and kicking and a good representation of the region.
