Sunday, October 2, 2005 - Dark, purple/red. Slightly alcoholic on the nose. Blackberries, black raspberries, a little leathery. On the acidic side, with firm tannins partly integrated. Not as big or fruit-forward as I would have guessed. Could probably use another year or two. Nice but not thrilling.
