Friday, February 27, 2015 - Second La Paulee Warmup Dinner (Ai Fiori - New York NY): Served in a mini DRC Echezeaux vertical, all open ~45 minutes before serving and double decanted. Lush and very ripe red cherry and berry with lots of spice that's unmistakably Vosne-styled. Very enjoyable today, but I really look forward to trying this in another decade+ as the baby fat softens and the concentration and raw materials really unfold into the wine this can be. This remained largely unchanged over the course of several hours tonight. In a sensational flight, this was my least favorite tonight, but i think this will be best from 2025 forward.
