Friday, June 8, 2012 - 2009 Red Burgundy, a first look: Rated as the top wine by myself and many others at this tasting. Rich and full bodied, a complex nose with primary notes of cherries and earth, perfect balance and a mouthfull of beautiful fruit on the palate. This is a big wine that is enjoyable to drink now, but promises much more in the years to come.
