Friday, April 27, 2012 - This is another beautiful effort from this top producer in Gigondas. The nose reveals the classical and very pure dark mature fruits while the palate is balanced and superbly integrated. The best part of this effort is that it is almost perfectly clean, there is no brett or other things which disturb the experience. One of the best wines from this appellation I have tasted. Compared to the 2007 this wine is less fruit forward and has somewhat more structure. A great buy. (score is 94-95)
