Saturday, October 15, 2016 - This beautiful effort is on a lovely track of development. Tonight it reveals a stunning and intense dark mature Grenache fruit which is actually rather overwhelming. After som time in the glass, a secondary layer emerges, full of dark chocolate, Asian spice, worn old saddle leather and freshly ground Provence herbs. There is something intriguingly great with this effort. As a taster you always expect something new, something else or just to be astonished when taking the next sip. This effort continues to be as expressive as when first tasted several years ago. Still it never crosses the line of being equivoque. A total stunner! (score is 95+)
