Saturday, July 4, 2015 - Sampling of Gevrey (Our House (2033 Brandywine St., Philadelphia)): Ponsot bottling. Spicy. Red fruit, black pepper, perfumed nose. There is a brightness with verve. An incredibly tense wine with bursting acidity. Red fruit on palate is intense. Red currant and small red berries. This is simply outstanding. Nothing out of place. Intense, dense, concentrated with a lingering finish.
