Sunday, March 16, 2014 - Huge extracted zin that reminded me of a young vintage port. This was hard and unyielding with any attractive zin fruit buried under an avalanche of wood, tannin and alcohol. There's plenty of structure here so perhaps this will improve, but at the moment its disjointed and unbalanced. I normally enjoy Turley Zins, but this one was over the top.
