Monday, June 1, 2009 - In a very nice place right now, great spicy nose of candied ginger followed by waxy yellow fruit, minerals and smoke on the palate; finish is long and salty. Very engaging, masculine wine and most interesting when warmed to room temperature. Excellent basic Savennieres.
