Saturday, May 14, 2011 - Florence & Tuscan Holiday; 5/9/2011-5/16/2011 (Florence & Tuscany): Popped and poured. Blend of Sangiovese and Pinot Noir.

Nose: It had a nose very reminiscent of a fruity red burg with some Tuscan earthiness I usually get from Chianti in it. Very aromatic notes of cherries and sweet licorice.

Taste: Truly a blend of Sangiovese and Pinot Noir because I get individual and integrated notes from these two elements. Full of vibrant red fruit, fine tannins and a long finish. Very refined. Delish!
