Saturday, April 11, 2020 - This really needs decanting, preferably at least 90 min out of the bottle, Pn’P doesn’t work. Once given some time it evolves into a nice wine. Nose is ethereal, but rich at the same time, dominated by black cherries. On the palate soft and fruit driven, but nicely balanced versus soft tannins and some acidity. Fruit is mostly cherries, but of the dark variety, not sweet. Not picking up even the slightest hint of barnyard/manure. Ultimately a good wine but can’t say I feel it is good value.
