Given we had a lovely experience with Comte Liger Belair the prior night in the form of the Cras 14 the answer was this bottle. Decanted for an hour and drank over the following 2 hours - partially side by side the last bits of the DRC. This had its very own charm and was a truly unique and feisty wine. Some nori and umami, this is powerful. Touch of white pepper coming through with more air. This is fairly full throttle and it went very well with the beef. Already a delight and one can only imagine what could come in 5-10 years. Absolutely wonderful stuff!
