The nose on the is gorgeous - super-elegant Napa juice, with aged cedar box but still plenty of dark fruit. The palate falls kinda flat, though - quite ripe, with almost a residual sugar sweetness, and not enough tannic grip to support the richness. Good acidity, and still quite fruit-driven, though. Some slight green qualities hidden, but fairly big for the vintage.
