Monday, January 19, 2015 - Nose shows strong black pepper and olive notes, buttressed by minerality and some light floral notes in the background. Nice acidic profile paired well with short ribs. Favors tend towards a N Rhine profile rather than Cali. Black fruit is somewhat subdued behind the olive and pepper. Medium finish.
