Sunday, July 20, 2014 - Opened out with 30 minutes in the decanter. A beautiful Gevrey nose; polished, almost singed Pinot - a mix of red and blue fruit, earth, and (with time) floral notes that kick it up a notch. Really very good. 93-94. Maybe bottle variation, maybe age - but no over-oaking or nail polish on this one.
