Friday, September 6, 2013 - Popped and poured, although perhaps I should have decanted. I quite like this wine. The nose shows a lot of tannin and dark fruit. However, on the tongue it is actually fairly smooth. There is dark fruit, but also quite a bit of fresh cherry on the finish. Some bramble, no doubt from the whole clusters. Will be interested to see how my other bottle evolves.
