Monday, November 24, 2014 - 2011 base. Have been hearing a lot of hype for this producer, but this wine did nothing for me. Some fresh sugar-dusted green apple and pear fruit, but the acidity is too high and a little chemically off-putting, like what lemonade powder tastes like before you mix it with water, and there's not much mineral or bready character to add complexity. Not for me. A big hit with the non-geeks though.
