Wednesday, July 4, 2012 - This is a very well crafted wine and it shows. Has an attractive nose of ripe, sweet berries and vanilla. Full-bodied - but not over extracted - this is loaded with juicy blueberry and dark cherry fruit flavors. The elegant finish is moderately long, with notes of toasty oak and spice lingering nicely. Very smooth, classy and quite complex for a Napa Merlot. Though the QPR here is average (at best), this is still worth a try.
