Saturday, July 4, 2015 - Rich and leesy. Gunpowder and buttery chardonay.

Nicely dosaged balancing the generous acidity and making for an easy drinking but nuanced , very enjoyable champagne.

Initially had a whiff of something stale but blew off completely after 30 min rest in fridge.

Looking at the cork, which was still elastic and far from being straight, this wine was probably disgorged max. 2-3 years ago.

Drink now or keep.
