Friday, October 20, 2006 - Exquisite, but so difficult to explain exactly why. It's just so balanced, with tangy cherry and a little anise and coffee. Velvety, seductive, and great concentration of fruit, with a dry finish that paired perfectly with sea salt & herb de provence rubbed steak. Very long finish. Now I know what the fuss is about.
