Saturday, January 26, 2013 - Opened by Otis and paired with osso bucco. Decanted for 4 hours. Lighter than the 1996 Giacosa Barolo we also had. Floral nose. More acidic. The fruit was tarter with notes of cherry and plum. An outstanding wine but not as good as the 2000 Giacosa Barbaresco Asili Riserva that I had 8 years ago. 91-92 points.
