Monday, May 24, 2021 - Stunning performance. Lush and fresh cherry fruit with a solid acidity and harsh tannins. There is a good deal of intensity and depth. Has evolved into a very classic-style Brunello and it is in a great place right now and the drinking-window has certainly opened. The tannins could need more time to soften a bit but overall, it is a pleasure to drink right now. It does show some mature notes also but the fruit is still fresh and young. 92-93p
