Friday, December 25, 2009 - Aromas of cherry, dried flowers, red licorice, cedar and sage rise from the glass to form a gorgeous, rich and interesting nose. The palate comes across as more advanced than expected but amazing none the less with strawberry, herbal tea with honey, minerals and bacon fat. The finish is long with sour cherry fruit and still shows a generous amount of fine tannin. This is classic in every way
