NOSE: shoe polish, damp earth, baked sour cherry, dried sour cherry, saddle, barnyard; PALATE: turned wet earth, leather, cooked sour cherry, black cherry, rusty nail, tea leaves; ASSESSMENT: TANNINS: medium; ALCOHOL: 13.5%; ACID: medium plus; COMPLEXITY: medium plus; FINISH: medium plus; Wine has aged wonderfully and was a joy to drink. Tannins have softened nicely. Cherry and red fruit are a bit dominent on finish.
