Wednesday, September 7, 2005 - Dark, colour, some bricking around the edges. Deep and dark cherry nose, but with noticeable barnyard aromas giving a rather rustic character. Good length on the palatte, classic cherry flavours. Perhaps more like a v good chianti than a brunello flavour wise (not quite as masculine nor refined), smooth but with some tannins still evident on the finish. V. v. nice, just a shame about the barnyard.
