94 Points

Saturday, September 25, 2021 - Decanted for 2 hours. Delightful and quite fresh, with a good structure. Medium+ tannins and acidity. Tannins are beautifully integrated, even though the vintage could suggest otherwise. Acidity a bit dominant, but with some air, it come across as well balanced. It delivers a lot of red fruit, especially sour cherries and cranberries, maybe a little red currant as well. It also delivers a flowery note, mostly violets, and some orange peel and leather in the end. The balance is good and the aftertaste long. It drinks quite good at this point if given some air, but can clearly be saved for years to come as well. For me, it’s in the beginning of the drinking window. A solid 94.
