Sunday, August 19, 2012 - I had this as part of a Zinfandel tasting on 8/19/12. It had a dense, ripe, layered bouquet of black cherry, boysenberry, smoke, anise and spice aromas. The palate was rich, ripe and a little hot with flavors of burnt toast, black cherry, blackberry, anise, pepper and spice. 90+
