Wednesday, May 29, 2013 - Penfolds Tasting (DEPs): A ruby-purple wine with a nose of mint/eucalyptus, licorice, and black fruits. Velvety in the mouth, with serious depth, and lots of blackberry. Very nice balance with plenty of structure. The finish has good length and lots of blackberry and some cedar. Definitely my favorite of the 5 Penfolds wines presented this evening.
