Sunday, May 31, 2015 - This has really mellowed since release and is in a good window. With a few minutes in the glass, any excessive heat is nowhere to be found. Really intense wine! Layered and deep with abundant notes of dark fruit, raspberry syrup, bacon, roasted cocoa beans, tar, licorice and dark spices. Very long. Lots of pleasure, if you're in the mood for this style of wine. Don't drink it too warm.
