Saturday, October 4, 2014 - Clear, deep purple in color, medium (+) intensity exhibiting youthful aromas of black currant, black raspberry, blueberry, violet, black pepper, liquorice, smoke and tobacco . Dry, with medium levels of acidity and alcohol; muted flavors of aforementioned fruit are presented alongside meaty, earthy elements . Medium bodied, with soft, chewey tannins. This took several hours to unwind but once there provided an extremely plush and supple feel on the palate. Nice lengthy finish. Should drink well for several years.
