Super rich nose, mostly dark fruit with a hint of purple flowers and earth. Surprisingly light on it's feet for a wine this dark and aromatic. Whatever oak is very nicely integrated, as is what is probably considerable alcohol. A very nice change of pace with flavors and aromas that are quite unique. A slight taste of charcoal and dark cherry on a fish that is not strong, but still lasts a couple of minute.
