Monday, April 21, 2008 - Decanted 1 hour. Full body. Drank this over three days (gassed and closed between each day). Day one: A bit sharp and acidic on the finish, but you know the dense tannins, chocolate and coffee lurk beneath the surface. Day two: Acid almost totally faded out. Day three: Best performance, acid totally gone but flavors still strong. The fruit is very subtle in this wine in general, it is much more about the black flavors and density.
