Saturday, February 15, 2020 - Bright straw color. Nose of dried grass and faint butterscotch. Surprisingly, a classic California chard flavor profile, not at all unpleasant. Medium light weight. Label says 14.9% alcohol but I'm not getting that at all...would hazard a guess at 13+%.
Slurp is balanced, fruit and tertiary flavors about equal. Finish is medium.
It's a solid California chardonnay...and while we anticipate something a bit more special from PM, this is a good wine.
