  • In the same vein as our bottle from Jan 2021 in that it is very youthful in appearance, however this bottle is dominated by its oak notes. There are tangerine, orchard fruit, fig and lemon curd qualities as well but overall seems less expressive and straightforward. Rich texture.

  • Our first of two purchased on release from a friend while we were still on the waitlist. Here again, a bottle that looks much younger than it is. Complex and evolving bouquet features coconut, honeysuckle, tangerine, orchard fruit and minerals. This is just spectacular. There’s an abundance of fruit with minimal oak influence at this point- everything is beautifully integrated and what is left is a seamless, complete wine with fruit, richness and depth. Picks up just a hint of something toasty/smoky on the back end. Gorgeous. At peak now through 2022.

  • Bright straw color. Nose of dried grass and faint butterscotch. Surprisingly, a classic California chard flavor profile, not at all unpleasant. Medium light weight. Label says 14.9% alcohol but I'm not getting that at all...would hazard a guess at 13+%.
Slurp is balanced, fruit and tertiary flavors about equal. Finish is medium.
It's a solid California chardonnay...and while we anticipate something a bit more special from PM, this is a good wine.

  • Active cellar storage since release by winery. Age has done this no favors. Hot, alcoholic oak bomb. Would prefer nameless chardonnay served by the split on an airplane. Undrinkable.

  • Fully mature. Light to medium golden.
Ok nose of flowers and herbs. Fleshy, flavorful palate of pear, white peach and honey. Nice finish, delicious wine but nothing here in terms of complexity or distinctiveness.
