Saturday, September 20, 2008 - 14.7% alcohol. Slightly funky on the nose, but a beautiful nose of black cherry and baking spice to go with the funk. Round, lush, and smooth in the mouth. Distinct black cherry fruit, baking spice, and a nice streak of bright acidity. A touch of heat on the finish, along with some oak influence. Pretty wine and very tasty. B+
