Thursday, July 21, 2011 - Riedel Tasting (Vitis Riesling, Montrachet, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet glasses) (Miele Gallery, Kenilworth, IL): Good depth of color. Full and fairly complex nose of butter, tropical fruit, white flowers. Lots of confected oak on the palate and some heat through the finish, though overall still quite light.
