Friday, March 24, 2023 - Consumed for #tawnytuesday with some good friends. Dark crimson in color. The color reminds me of an aged sangiovese not a 10-Year tawny. Fairly simple but very enjoyable nose of raisins, chocolate covered cherries and cola. There was an initial note of funk, almost like a plastic medicinal note, but that blew off with some air. On the palate, lots of chocolate covered cherries and cola. Very smooth mouth feel. This was quite nice.
