Thursday, August 2, 2018 - This bottle reminded me of my first Clos de Mesnil two years ago, also 1990, and I absolutely loved it. This wine is definitely open knit and shows a lot of ‘90 ripeness and easy accessibility but also has all the detail and complex array of aromas and flavours you hope for in these bottles. Lovely vanilla spice and cream.
