Dark, clean colour - looked drinkable.
Modest nose - some fruit, a little wood.
Round mouth filling flavour, but with a little hollowness following (perhaps I missed the tannin?)
Perfect to drink now - I don't believe it will get much better.
A lovely drink, not the fruit of the '03 Pavie, nor the class of the '96 Pichon Baron - but for today a great drink.
