Thursday, October 10, 2019 - Tasted blind. I was guessing Chateaubeuf. This says it all. A very ripe Merlot with lots of dark fruit, licorice, oak. Bitterness on the finish. Enough acidity for the ripeness but still too rich for me. Not really Bordeauesque.
